Name: Pastor Bill Greiner Position: Senior Pastor Bio: Bill Greiner was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio in 1963 by Robert and Donna Greiner with two older sisters Nancy and Polly. He graduated from Kenton Ridge High School in 1981. After high school Bill earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree majoring in Biblical Studies from Anderson College, Anderson, IN (1985). With a desire for a more extensive theological training he moved to Pasadena, California where he completed a Master’s of Arts Degree in Theology. His ministry experience began as a volunteer leader in Young Life at Anderson High School in Anderson, IN. Bill has been happily married to his wife Robin (Jones) since 1988. Robin has been the Executive Director of Pregnancy Services of Gratiot County for the past five years. She graduated with honors from the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University. They live in Midland with their four children Hannah (13), Quinten (11), Josiah (9), and Dietrich (3). Bill has been in youth ministry for two decades. During that time he has served as youth pastor at Columbus West Church of God in Columbus, Ohio (11 years). Then the Greiners moved to Al ma, Michigan where Bill served as youth pastor at Alma First Church of God (9 years). During these 20 years, Bill’s ministry expanded beyond the boundaries of the youth and families of the local congregations where he was employed. He has held numerous state and district level positions within the Church of God in both Ohio, and Michigan. Bill has also served in the steering committee for the Billy Graham Crusade youth division in Columbus. He has been a part of developing a state wide Church of God leadership training program called Youth Institute for Servant Leadership (YISL). Bill, Robin and the kids are very excited to be a part of Eagle Ridge Church of God and the Midland community. His desire is to love and serve God while loving and serving his neighbor.
