Adult Sunday Morning Christian Education Classes Spring Quarter- starting March. 2, 2008-May 25, 2008 11:00 a.m. - 12 noon
Coffee is available in each class after the morning service.
Bridges Across the Bible Join this great group of adults as they learn together & apply Scriptures to their lives today in an interesting & interactive way. This Spring, the Bible Study will be based on passages from 1 & 2 Chronicles, Daniel, Haggai, & Nehemiah. The group will study God’s initiative in establishing a personal relationship between Himself and His people. This class is facilitated by David Hunt in Room 106.
Men of Character The Men’s Class will be studying the life of Abraham, by using the book, Abraham-Holding Fast to the Will of God, by Gene Getz. Even though Abraham faced trials, frustrations and failures, God used him in a powerful way. Godly principles in his life can guide men today through the maze of challenges they face. This inspiring class is facilitated by Jeff Legge in Room 115 (chapel).
20/30Something’s Class This class is open to singles and married couples in this age range (and older too). If you are interested in a discussion-orientated class with others who want to grow spiritually, this class is for you! They cover a variety of topical studies as well as Bible Studies throughout the year. This class is facilitated by Norm and Becky Neher in Room 103.
Precept Bible Study Precept Ministries is dedicated to teaching people to study God’s Word for themselves and apply its truths to their daily lives. This Spring, class members will continue studying in the book of Revelation., using the Bible, a study guide, and videos. This class is facilitated by Marie Thurlow in room 114.
The Five Love Languages of Children Every child expresses & receives love best through one of the 5 Love languages: quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, & physical touch. This class will use Dr. Gary Chapman’s book- The Five Love Languages of Children to discover how to meet the deepest emotional needs of children. Join in for great discussion! This class is facilitated by Kristin Vance & Robin Greiner in Room 105.
Transforming Your Finances and Life This class is more than just learning about budgets and finances- you’ll reflect on your relationship to money and how it impacts your relationship to God.
