Eagle Ridge Church of God recognizes that there is a growing number of older adults in both our congregation and community. We believe that God is calling us to extend the love of God and of His family to those within the church and to take His love to other older adults in our community.
Our Senior Adult Ministry seeks in several ways to encourage both continuing personal spiritual growth and participation in the ongoing life and ministry of the church. Older adults are blessed with resources of time and experience, which enable them to serve and share in many ways. They are in a position to provide great witness and influence within the church family.

Salt & Light Potluck
Salt & Light Monthly Potluck - Thursday, May 15th at 6:00 p.m. Bring a dish to pass (with serving spoon) and your own table service.

Fellowship and interaction with other persons are important to every age within our church and community. The Salt 'n Light Program is an excellent opportunity for sharing with members of the congregation and with friends or others that we may invite from time to time. Salt 'n Light evenings feature a potluck supper on the third Thursday evening of every month. Fellowship and food are sometimes accompanied with a brief program. On other months those present enjoy conversation round the tables. * * * * *
Salt 'n Light lunches are
done on the first Thursday morning of every month. These meetings provide
wonderful fellowship opportunities. Frequent outings are planned to give special opportunity for being together. These may include visits to a museum or planetarium, fall color tour, etc. We may, sometimes, just do lunch together at a favorite or new restaurant. Older adults are encouraged to participate in the weekly Cell Ministry (Spiritual Growth Groups) of the congregation. These small groups meet in various homes each week and are a great opportunity for building relationships with other persons. Participation is voluntary and welcome in any one of the several different cells. The Senior Adult Ministry of the Eagle Ridge Church of God has as its purpose to serve, not to be served. We seek to help and encourage our older adults to be actively involved in the life and ministry of the church.
