Bill Greiner - Senior Pastor
Bill was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio by Robert and Donna Greiner with two older sisters, Nancy and Polly. Bill earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Anderson College in Indiana. With a desire for a more extensive theological training, he moved to Pasadena, California where he completed a Master's of Arts degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. His ministry experience began as a volunteer leader in Young Life at Anderson High School in Anderson, IN. During his career, Bill has served as a youth pastor for 20 years and the senior pastor of Eagle Ridge Church of God for the last 11 years.
Bill has been married to Robin 30 years and has three children. Robin is currently pursuing her master of social work degree from SVSU and will be completing her 10th year of employment at Shelterhouse. They live in Midland with their youngest son, Dietrich, who attends Midland High as a freshman. Their adult daughter, Hannah lives on the west side of the state and works at the YMCA Camp Pinewood while serving as a member of the Michigan Army National Guard. Their oldest son, Josiah, attends Taylor University in Indiana.
Bill ministers to his community outside the church by coaching JV Tennis at Midland High School and can frequently be found in various fast food joints around town working in the community he loves. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Warner Camp in Grand Junction, MI.
Julie Allen-Wiseman - Pastor
Julie is originally from Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from a Christian college in Illinois. She later moved to Michigan and has been here for most of her adult life. She was ordained in 2000 and is currently the Associate Pastor of Administration and Worship here at Eagle Ridge. Julie shares frequently that her children and grandchildren give her a LOT of joy and sunshine.
Julie's discipleship plan became reality to her the summer our congregation was studying the book of Acts. She was challenged to constantly be on the look-out for who God was bringing up into the church. She loves to give young people in our church the opportunity to develop the gifts that God has given them.
Presently, she is serving on the Midland Regional Human Trafficking Task Force. The Task Force works with many in our city, and on the state level, who are working to assist victims and hold traffickers accountable for these crimes.
Additionally, she has the honor to work with our missionaries to Uganda, Tim and Colleen Stevenson for the TAPP, Tumaini (HOPE) AIDS Prevention Program. This program provides training, home based care, income generating projects, education and social support to Ugandan communities.
Julie loves the Phantom of the Opera Broadway show, her favorite food is grilled salmon with red potatoes and broccoli, and her favorite past-time is spending time with her grandkids and playing the piano.
