Worship Celebration on Sunday Morning Sunday morning is a time of worship through prayer, singing praises and studying God’s Word for the entire family. The celebration includes a thematic blend of praise and worship songs, hymns of the faith, and spiritual songs. The morning of worship begins at 9:30 a.m., with an entire church family. We then proceed to worship God through study of Scripture in classes and small groups, at 11:00 a.m.
Ministry Opportunities through Worship Guitarists & Rhythm
We use keyboard, drums, percussion, bass guitarist, synthesizer, and electric
guitars to provide accompaniment for our voices raised in worship. Participation
is done on a rotating basis. We rehearse on Wednesday, prior to the Sunday we
lead in worship, at 5:30 p.m.
Small Groups
Victory Handbell Choir currently meets at 5:45
p.m. on
Tuesday.
Faithful Men – Men’s singing group rehearses on the first
and third Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
Technical Worship Arts This important ministry team provides acoustical reinforcement, lighting and visual aids for all worship services. Responsibilities are handled on a rotation system. If you are interested in participating in these ministry opportunities, contact Bob Wiseman at 631-7596. For projection, contact Robin Bussa at 837-2553.
Church Beautification We are committed to creating a visual environment that welcomes those who enter our church building. We need help with decorating the lobby and the family life center and with making banners. We also decorate for Easter and Christmas. If you are interested in helping in any of these areas, please contact Donna Tuttle at 631-6371.
Dramatic Arts Our Mission: To enhance the message of God through the use of Performing Arts. The Drama ministry team helps each other improve our skills and have fun together giving praise and serving God with our talents and gifts. You can also help behind the scenes! We need directors, someone to take care of props and costume requirements, writers, script research and more! If you would like to be a part of this fun small group, talk to anyone on the Drama Team or contact the church office. Ordinance of CommunionBelievers are renewed in their life in Christ through the service of communion. The elements of communion represent the body and blood shed on the cross. Anyone who is a believer can participate in the act of celebrating His death and resurrection and all believers are welcome to the table.
