Julie Allen-Wiseman - PastorJulie is originally from Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from a Christian college in Illinois. She later moved to Michigan and has been here for most of her adult life. She was ordained in 2000 and is currently the Associate Pastor of Administration and Worship here at Eagle Ridge. Julie shares frequently that her children and grandchildren give her a LOT of joy and sunshine.
Julie's discipleship plan became reality to her the summer our congregation was studying the book of Acts. She was challenged to constantly be on the look-out for who God was bringing up into the church. She loves to give young people in our church the opportunity to develop the gifts that God has given them. Presently, she is serving on the Midland Regional Human Trafficking Task Force. The Task Force works with many in our city, and on the state level, who are working to assist victims and hold traffickers accountable for these crimes. Additionally, she has the honor to work with our missionaries to Uganda, Tim and Colleen Stevenson for the TAPP, Tumaini (HOPE) AIDS Prevention Program. This program provides training, home based care, income generating projects, education and social support to Ugandan communities. Julie loves the Phantom of the Opera Broadway show, her favorite food is grilled salmon with red potatoes and broccoli, and her favorite past-time is spending time with her grandkids and playing the piano. |
